today Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 3, which is optimized for Microsoft Visual Studio
2008 and the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0.
Volume 3 comes with more powerful features than ever before. The most significant
improvements were made in the area of data input into mobile devices with a touch screen. To
optimize touch input, Resco brought a new control called CustomKeyboard for .NET CF.
"Because of the large diversity of the Windows Mobile devices, it is complex to make a
universal Soft Keyboard that would fit different application types," said Radomir Vozar,

The CustomKeyboard for .NET CF control noticeably simplifies the overall data input,
adding incomparable comfort to every user dealing with input of different data. The control

"CustomKeyboard is one of the most flexible controls we’ve developed so far," said
Gabriel Minarik, Resco’s component developer. "Therefore, we wanted to give developers
an inspiration how to use it in various mobile application scenarios."
Mobile devices are often used in extreme work conditions. Therefore it is expected
from an application to be fully controlled by finger. For this purpose, the CustomKeyboard
comes with a sample of a big numeric keyboard, which consists of keys large enough to be
operable also with a hand wearing a glove.
Another sample shows how to define several different layouts and activate them according
to the type of input field. In order to present this feature, Resco developed a sample that
activates keyboard layouts.
One of the most unique CustomKeyboard features is that it allows developers to dynamically
change the layout and function of particular keys. To show how this can work, we’ve developed
a calculator keyboard sample. The calculator display is directly integrated into the keyboard
layout and the user can send its value to the focused input field just by clicking on it.

The Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 3 is now available. The Standard Edition with a 1 year
subscription will be priced at $499.95, the Professional Edition at $999.95, and the Enterprise
Edition at $1,999.95.
